Being hacked can seem like something obscure. It won’t happen to me, but then it does. What are consequences of getting it wrong?
ICRC had a data breach. So where does that leave us? It is a complex challenge. We won’t stop collecting data or stop using digital tools.
How would you like to be treated? Your data treated? We do not need to agree, but do need to talk. A simple question to unpack the things we hold dear.
What not to do seems quite straightforward, quite basic. And yet, clearly it is not. One slip up and lives are lost. This is not a technology problem.
Things will go wrong. If we approach incident management through the lens of ‘duty of care’ would our approach change at all?
