Understanding Expectations
The thing about reviews is we rarely state what our expectations were to begin with. We assume our expectations are the same as others, they rarely are.
Feedback is not a Competitive Act
The feedback exchange is not, and should be, a competitive act. Rather it should be generous. Yes it can be scary, but you can still say thank you.
