In the humanitarian space there is a push for collecting the biometrics of the people receiving the aid. One of the arguments used is that it reduces fraud.

However, we also know that most of the fraud is not done by the recipients, it’s done by others throughout the supply chain.

So why in our push for biometrics are we not biometrically registering every person in the supply chain?

Or is fraud not really our goal?
