This week’s inspiration

inspiration

This week was filled with trying to explain why someone does the ‘skeleton’ sport to our kids to protecting daffodils with soggy paper. Other things that inspired us this week include:

The Beauty of a Well Crafted Magazine

Not an e-zine, but one you can hold and curl up on a sofa with a hot drink and lose yourself in. We discovered ‘Freelancer‘ this week and it was wonderful.

The Small Steps of Giant Leaps

I love the improve 1% everyday concept. I write about it often as being powerful for change. This article – The Small Steps of Giant Leaps – is different (better?) way of explaining it.

How do you like them apples?

This guy is amazing – a curator of lost apples. Perhaps we should change the definition of ‘dedicated’ in the dictionary to a photo of him.

Dealing with Tough Issues

The last few weeks have been a nightmare for our friends and colleagues in ICRC. However, their collective transparency and communication about it has been inspiring, including their efforts to provide potentially affected people with Information. What the rest of the sector does in response will be interesting to watch as most of us have ‘mall cops fighting the Delta Force.’

What inspired you this week?
