Change Analogies

Sometimes in our need to be ‘seen’, we compete. We try to ‘prove’ that we are better than another, we shout louder, write more, and tear others down. In other, healthier moments, we ‘see’ ourselves and contribute to discussions, events, communities in a ‘contributing’ manner not a ‘winner take all’ mindset.

This is true of indiviuals and organisations.

Not everything is a battle that needs to be won. In fact, perhaps war analogies are unhelpful in most situations. Perhaps it’s time to change the anologies we use.
