One of the walls of our house has a handprint on it. While the plaster was still not completely dry, our son slipped and his hand grasped at the wall to stabilise himself. The mark has not been fixed as it is a bigger job than imagined due to the type of external plaster used. So the wall is not perfect. But it tells a story, one that can be told for years into the future.
The imperfect has become perfect through the story we tell.
This is true of most projects I’ve worked on. None of them are perfect. But they all tell and are part of a story.
