When our job is to manage risk, it can be easy to because risk adverse. Our default position can be ‘no’ to any form of change. However, we need to strive to determining when change is actually new or greater risk and when it is just a different way of doing things at the same risk level.

Too often we interpret different as risky, when it is just different.
