Pressing Pause

pause

Over four and half years ago (4 years, 7 months, and 6 days ago to be exact) I started writing daily. Every day, without fail, I wrote. In hotels, in tents, in friends and relative’s houses, I wrote. On holidays, regular days, sick days, I wrote. 1679 posts. I’ve learned a lot about myself, ideas, change, and many of you.

But today I pause. Likely for the summer, but perhaps longer. I don’t actually know. But I do know I need to focus on a few other things. I will always write, doodle, sketch, and try to connect dots. But for now, I will pause the blog. In the wee hours of the morning, you’ll now find me in the garden or walking the dog.

I have been delighted to get to know some of you in amazing ways. I have shocked at how many of you have reached out to encourage me, to share stories, to ask questions, and just to connect. Most of you I have never met in person, but some of you have become cherished friends and colleagues.

Thank you for reading my daily musings. Thank you for the work you do, the passion you have, the dream that life can be better. And thank you for sharing a small part of you world with me. I am honoured.

Keep going. The world needs more passionate people, not less.

Till next time, Amos.
