Wait. Be passive for a while.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen or written into a project plan or strategy a period of waiting, of pausing, of letting the change happen.
Patience
Patience. It’s not a strong characteristic of mine. I tend to be the impatient kind. Build, measure, learn. Don’t wait for perfect.

You need both courage and patience to create beautiful gardens, but also to impactful organisations.
Rhythms and Patience
Frustration during change is created when we behave in the ‘old’ way and expect the same result; we haven’t adapted our expectations to the ‘new’ rhythms.
Collective Impatience
The long arc of change is forgotten. We have developed a collective impatience; we have an inability to ‘believe’ our actions have long term implications.
