most of us who made new year’s resolutions no longer keep them. Often policies and standards have a ‘resolution’ feeling to them.
Creating new policies is easy. Ensuring all staff are aware of and follow a new policy is the hard part. Marketing policy is a long term endeavour.
Too often policies are viewed as an end. It’s time to move beyond policy. Perhaps it’s time to view the completion of the policy as the start.
