Perfection (and happiness?) might be achieved in gratefulness and sharing rather than accumulating. There is more than enough to go around.
From the Blog on reflection
There is something wonderful, about documenting daily. It allows you to look back, to reflect, and to ‘see’ the change that has occured.
Change always has at least two sides – it is colourful. We like to think it is ‘this or that’, but rarely is it that easy.
Being still, quiet, and reflective. In a world of always on, of instantaneous response, pausing and resting are revolutionary acts.
Today marks the end of a decade too. Looking back on 10 years give us pause to see how far we’ve come and the amount of change we’ve gone through.
Our journey is never a solitude one even if it feels like it. We are more like a swarm of birds than the solitary eagle. There is some beautiful about this.
We live in a distracted world where short, pithy, speedy responses are often viewed as more important than thoughtful and generous responses.
