It is easy to be disgruntled with strategists and discussions about organisational strategy as so often strategies stay, well, just that a strategy, a document. We’ve all heard lines like ‘it is a living document’, which often means ‘we will keep working on the document forever and never make the hard choices required to implement.’ I tire easily of these conversations and suspect you do too.
I came across this resource this week (The Chief Strategy Officer Playbook) about how to move beyond talking and start implementing. I hope it is helpful for you to move beyond the talk no matter what your role is in your organisation.
