X for Good. Substitute the ‘X’ for whatever you want – tech, Facebook, business, and so on. There are lots of groups like this around. Started either by people wanting to make change or companies themselves.
The first question I am struck with whenever I come across one is – does this mean the rest of ‘X’ is bad or not good? This leads to a few other questions. If the answer to the first question is yes, does this mean the core of ‘X’ is bad? And if so, can a bad ‘core’ actually be used for ‘good’ or does it need to be rebuilt?
And just to be clear. I am not anti business or anti technology. In fact, I am very pro both of them when they are built from a positive core desiring to positively impact the community and world in which we live. Both now and for future generations.
X for good should set off alarms bells indicating there is a lot to explore before diving in.
