When things don’t go according to plan or when you feel stuck, there are always options available to you. You may not be able to see them immediately, but that’s what colleagues, coaches, and friends are for. Pigheaded stubbornness of staying the course is also an option, but rarely a good one.
Yes there is a cost to choosing a different option but have you measured and compared the cost of staying the course? Almost always there is a low-cost option to explore or test new paths.
In our fast changing world, the plans we create today are rarely still fit for purpose in a year or two. Maybe it’s time to consider plan B or plan F, G, or H?
